• Pattern Name: Bromelia Resist. This is a reproduction design from the DuPont Winterthur Museum in the original (document) colors. "Resist" refers to an 18th century method of printing where a paste was used to inhibit or resist the dye thereby creating the pattern and giving it a distinctive look. It is similar to Batik in process and appearance. We have several resist style fabrics available.
